At the initiative of ALICOOP, goat farmers who are clients of ALICOOP and their partners gathered on May 5 at the Benassay community hall. The morning was devoted to presenting the technical and economic results of CHEVRYPLAN for the year 2021, and their developments over the last 10 years, which can be analyzed the web tool. The morning also provided an opportunity to discuss the strategies to be implemented in the face of the current geopolitical context, which is having a strong impact on farms.

In the afternoon, the group visited the SARL LES REPARES to see the goat farm with Corinne and Sabrina, the two sisters who run the operation. They explained the functioning of their farm and its developments, covering key topics such as raising female kids, work distribution, and herd feeding strategies. The farmers who attended the event had the opportunity to exchange ideas and ask questions as professionals.

Do not hesitate to contact a goat farming advisor at ALICOOP to access all the documents presented during this goat day.

We would like to thank all the participants in this event, especially the goat farmers who use CHEVRYPLAN, which made this event possible. We would also like to express our special thanks to Corinne and Sabrina for their hospitality, availability, and transparency in presenting their farming practices and results.
